What to expect
If your study doctor determines that you are eligible and you decide to participate, you will be enrolled into the study.
Once enrolled, you will be randomly assigned to receive either the study medicine at one of five dose levels, an active comparator medicine, or placebo (which has no active medicine in it). All are given as injections under the skin, using an injection pen. Your study team will teach you how to use the injection pen.
Your participation is expected to last about 1 year, with a mix of in-person and phone visits every 1-2 weeks. These visits may include physical exams, lab tests and questionnaires to monitor your health and safety.
